We are starting out this month later than usual, but it’s okay. We’re going to do three special events for Autism Acceptance month. Two of the events will be outdoors. We will practice safety by social distancing and wearing our masks so we can take advantage of the warmer weather. The other event will be over ZOOM. We would love to have all autistics on the autism spectrum of all ages !!
Through these challenging times we will stay strong and be here for each other and moving on into the summertime and into the future we will make autism acceptance every single day. We will return to our regular support groups for adult autistics, teens and young adults as well as our girls day out group and some and our other special interest groups. We will also return to our mentorship programs, leadership team, etcetera as time allows. Hopefully we will keep the up and up like good things going on like vaccines. No matter what we will figure out ways we can support each.
We have learned to cope by growing into the Autism spectrum, not out of it. Autistics can be the best mentors and peer supports for other Autistics.”
